Andrew McDermott (Andy) is the author of two self-published works of non-fiction: Yes, You Can Publish Your Book! and The Publicious Book Marketing Toolkit. While under the pseudonym of Andy McD he has so far published three works of fiction: The Tiger Chase, Flirting with The Moon, and X (with three Gold Coast murder mystery sequels to X to be published in 2025).
He is the CEO and founder of Publicious Book Publishing, a company designed to assist self-published authors with everything required for publication at an affordable price. His main aim was to create the kind of company he wished had been around when he was starting out, and one that would give the many unscrupulous publishing providers who populate the internet a run for their money.
Andy continues to write and is active in the writing community. He is a past two times president of the Gold Coast Writers Association and is currently their patron.

Julie was born in Scotland, grew up in South Africa, and moved to Australia with her family in 2006. With a lifelong passion for words, spelling, grammar, the English language, and clarity of expression in the written word, she certified in Professional Editing and Proofreading in 2011, and started her own online business, Say it Write, in May 2013.
As she has written hundreds of her own poems, starting at a very young age, Julie is honoured to have had one of her poems published in A Moment in Eden: The International Library of Poetry (ISBN 0-7951-5049-0).
She has been working alongside Andy from PUBLICIOUS, in a copy editing/proofreading capacity, since 2020 and is committed to providing work with excellence, delivered through professionalism and a true passion for the industry.
