For the Cover
%100 Full grain distressed leather is used. After the leather is attached to the board cover, rustic and vintage look is given to the leather by using aging technique in different ways. For each journal the leather is cut differently to create unusual designs.
For the Papers
Stained A5 papers using the Tea and Coffee Dyed Technique
This technique takes quite a long time. The hand dyed and air dried technique uses a mixture of tea and coffee for each page to be compatible with the vintage looking distressed sheepskin leather cover. The papers have the mark of an old age look. Each page has different shapes and shades just like our life.
The stained papers are all hand stitched.
NOTE: These papers are hand-dyed and each is unique. These papers do not lay perfectly flat due to the dying process. Some pages may be bent or creased and some papers may have slight rips/tears at the edges or corners. These should be minimal.
